Nestled amidst the serene backdrop of Gretna, the Gretna Chase strikes a commendable balance between luxury and value. On my recent stay, I found the room incredibly spacious and well furnished, offering a comfy seating area along with practical amenities like an electric kettle and a flat-screen TV. While it was a lovely night away from the kids, I was slightly disappointed that I couldn't connect my Netflix to the television, which would have added to the relaxing experience. Housekeeping maintained a high standard, with the bathroom being spotless and well-stocked with quality toiletries. I was also pleased to enjoy the beautiful gardens, immaculately kept, making for a pleasant stroll. Dining here is an enticing affair; The breakfast was hearty, and the evening meal was both delicious and reasonably priced. Afternoon tea and coffee facilities were a nice touch, catering to those quiet moments. It’s a smart choice for the conscious traveler.
